Doing Maximum Pullups Reps?
I am trying to improve my pull ups and am wondering which way I should do them. I am currently trying to balance between doing them palms facing towards me (sometimes hear them called chin ups) and palms facing away. I've noticed they have gotten easier doing them palms facing away as I've built up my back muscles and can get about 12 reps both ways. I was wondering which way I should ultimately be focusing on (if any in specific) to get maximum reps because we are allowed to do it either way for the Marine Corps.

Stay balanced. I can do more pullups (palms away) than chinups. It's a matter of individual preference/strength distribution.
