What should I stock in our snackbar?
I run a small snack bar at work. We're in a very isolated area. Employees only get 30 minutes for lunch and the nearest fast food restaurant is at least 25 minutes away. I'm looking for new ideas about what to stock. I have the standards of chips, candy, soda, cookies and also stock frozen sandwiches (burgers, chicken sandwiches, burritos, etc). When I ask people what they want, they just sort of shrug and say, "I don't know - I pick from whatever is there." Do you have any ideas about what kinds of things you'd want to get from such a snack bar?
I would buy oranges (or tangerines since they're easier to peel)...; Pickles are popular (in Tx anyway)...
Do stock some sugar-free stuff for those of us who get neglected and overlooked and end up hungry or bringing our food from home 'cause we don't eat sugar.
One more thing: how about trail mix or granola?
