I don't want my bench press to mess up my press up routine?
Hey all, I'm bench pressing with a wide grip to work my pectorials, but I don't want it to mess up my press-up routine which I do when i work my triceps. I've started bench pressing to work my pectorials as I do UK military style press ups with a close grip which work predominantly your triceps. So my question is will I be messing up my tricep press-ups routine when doing the bench press for my pectorials ie. How much will I feel the bench press in my triceps?

okay thanks, but my bp will still work my triceps to an extent, and vise versa, but thanks!
If you do press-ups first, then you won't get as much out of the benching. If you bench first, you won't get as much out of the press-ups.
They way to fix this problem is to work different muscle groups on different days. You should do this anyways, so your muscles get time to recover (without recovery, you won't get as much growth as you can).
E.g. - day 1: Biceps and Chest
- day 2: Triceps and Back
