Can I sue my cable company for refusing to pick up their equipment after a cancellation?
I live in Houston, Texas.Canceled my cable/Internet service with TV Max yesterday and asked for a final bill. When asked what day were they coming to disconnect the service, I was told to bring it in myself. Explained to them the contract says I'm not to connect or disconnect their equipment couldn't get a response. Asked for a Supervisor refuse to let me talk to one. Can I sue them for not abiding by their own contract?
I'm in Houston, and I know for sure, that you're supposed to bring in the box and the modem, to the local office.
You're not allowed to detach any wiring.
Sure, you can hire a lawyer and sue. BUT you're going to lose that lawsuit.
