What does flicking my wrist when hitting forehands do?
Does it add more pace or something?
Because I've seen Federer wrist flick in his technique and it pretty much seems he's trying to add power but what is it really for?
It helps add power. If you just hit the ball, it most likely won't be that powerful. Flicking your wrist will add more power to the basic stroke, because the racket head is traveling at a faster pace.
