New to working out, how to start?

I am 24 and terrible with keeping a good work out regimine. I just started a new job which gives me some time at home to work out. I threw on some gym shoes and gave it a go in my bedroom and about 5 minutes in, i was BEAT! Do I stop, or just push through and get a good 15 minutes in at least? I was doing some running in place, and some jump rope at first, then switched to some taebo type jab moves, keeping the abs flexed and then some squat kicks, again flexing the abs, and keeping them tight. I'm so out of shape though that after just a few sets, I was really feeling it. I know with a good routine I will get stronger and stronger and build my stamina, but for right now should I just do the 5 minutes, maybe a couple of times a day, or should I just push myself and get a good 15-20 minute workout? I'm so new to this, I just don't know and I feel really silly. Thanks in advance

Just make sure you don't over-do-it too soon. If you hurt something you will be out before you even started. Work on going easy for 30min, once a day, 6 days a week. Then, work on building up the intensity (difficulty) of your 30min workouts. Then, increase the Duration (time length) of your workouts. You shouldn't workout for more than 90min max! If you can't do it in under 90 min, then you need to workout harder.

Plus, you should spend the first 10min stretching and warming up, and the last 5min cooling down and stretching. It might feel pointless now, but it will payoff 10fold in the long run.

We appreciate you looking at our Stamina Flex Gym information.
