Whole grain and cereal?
Well lately I have seen TONS of Cereal commercials bragging they are "all" whole grain, but what is so great about whole grain cereal? what are the pros and cons to whole grain cereal to the human body and also the pros and cons to the economy?
Also i have heard that whole grain agrivates people who suffer from IBS. I do have IBS and I love cereal, i eat it at lease once a day, maybe more. What are some things I should look out for, should i stop eating whole grain cereal?

Whole grains supply more protein and fiber than other cereals like the puffed up corn and sugar balls. Whole wheat cereals help you to feel more full and satisfied longer and make keeping a healthy diet easier. With IBS the worst cereals that are whole wheat for that would probably be things like Kashi cereals which are very good but are more of the hardcore organic/whole grain eaters kinds of cereals. Heavy cereals like those that are thick and where you can really feel the grittiness of the whole grains would be the worst for you in terms of irritation.
