Help! I feel fat..?
Okay. I'm 5'10, and weight 166 pounds. I go to the gym 5 times a week, and for the majority of times, I eat very healthy. But I just got home from the gym (intense cardio for 60 mins, then weight lifting the other 30 mins), and I ate an entire large pizza!!!! Does this ruin my entire workout? I hope not.. I don't do this often, I haven't eaten pizza for a while, which is probably why I ate so much OF it! But what do you think? I'm planning on going an extra day (6th) day to make up for it. What do you think?
Each day I stay 60-90 mins each day I go to the gym. Hope this helps!!

Well,
I'm a circuit coach at a curves and I know that if you exercise doing strength training and cardio training in the morning hours that you will be burning calories through out the day.
If you really workout that much every day then you have no worries about gaining so much.
My saying is, "if you workout more then you eat out"
You'll be fine. By the sounds of it..
With your height and your weight that isn't bad.
Because if you are a man it probably portions out well for your heighth. I wouldn't worry so very much about weight gain.
Just eat more whole weat /grains stay away from the pastries and corn because they are filled to the brim with sugar and that get's attached to your body and stays there.. harder to burn.
try not to eat to much white bread because that will only encourage more weight gain. You need to get on some machines that work your top half of your body for 30 seconds and then your lower for 30 seconds and in between those times do something cardiovasculor. That will help..
because doing a exercise consistantly in only one region of your body for more then 30 seconds is not needed and it is more likely that you will be sore. or have an injury.
Your muscles don't need more then 30 seconds...
to over load your muscles. So please don't over do it.
I know with men it's a little different but I don't want you having a spaint knee or something happen because your muscles were to over loaded and became weak.
Make sure to stretch as well. It is crusial for balance/ circulation and much more. and will get you ready for your next workout while helping prevent injury.
Don't stress about your weight. Just commit yourself to eat right and let me tell you... eating pizza once in a while is okay... everyday it isnt... so it's okay to treat yourself once in a while. okay.
Don't deprive yourself of nutrients eat breakfast, lunch and super. it's crusial to eat the three meals as well.
Watch out for diet soda's/ They are like chemicals in your body. try to stay away from that- drink plenty of water 8-10 per day so you are hydrated.
