I want to eat but I have absolutely no appetite or desire to eat anything at all!!?
My 4 year old daughter eats more than I do!!!?
Hello, I am 26 yrs. old 5'5 and 105 lbs (maybe). My problem is my appetite has disappeared and I don't know why or how to get it back. Last night we ate pizza and my 4 yr. old ate her whole slice and I could only eat 2 bites and felt full, that was the only thing I ate all day and this has been going on for a while now. I am really scared now because I have lost 20 lbs. within the last 3 weeks or so. I made an appointment with my dr. but I just want to know if anyone has any advice that may help in the mean time. I do have a lot of stress, anxiety and nervousness. I started exercising to reduce my stress and anxiety but I'm not doing a strenuous workout (ex. push ups, squats, and 15 lb. dumb bells curls) usually every other day. I am at the end of my rope with this I assumed exercising would generate an appetite but it hasn't, does anyone have any tips or advice I am open to accept whatever help you can provide....Thank you!!!
You need to "tell your Doctor " what you wrote here.
Emotions are sometimes so strong that they will affect your stomach, due to to "worrying ". Of course, some people also have a weak hunger trigger, that doesn't send strong enough signals to your head to remind you to eat.
One of the ways to get your stomach and digestion moving properly again, is to eat raw veggies, like carrots, apples, and celery. All of those are full of fibre, that will encourage your stomach to start working on digesting them. I bet you don't have frequent bowel movements, do you ? How about water ? How much clean pure water do you drink each day ? Put a gallon jug of water in the fridge, each morning, and drink it all by bedtime, each day.
When you see the Doctor, ask to have your blood checked for anemia, low iron, and potassium levels.
