I've been working out for 7 weeks, I see no results.....?
I've been working out for 7 weeks and eating healthy yet I see no results at all. I am a 17 year old, 6'1" male and weigh 198 lbs (went from 215 to 195 to 198). I still have a little fat on my chest, some on the stomach, on the hips and thighs. I followed this workout (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=At3CyoX4MZgvtw5ewr_ODSoazKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20100408193053AAvtGvW) for 6 weeks and I switched it up 2 days ago to: 12 reps of 12 second hill sprints (every day) -- 45-55 benchpresses w/ 40 lb dumbbells, 40 bicep curls w/ 30 lb dumbbells, 100-150 pushups, 40 front raises w/ 20 lb dumbbells, 20 standing shoulder presses w/ 30 lb dumbbells (monday, wednesday, friday) and starting tomorrow I will be doing the spartacus workout (tuesday, thursday, saturday) maybe 4-5 sets. Am I on the right track and when should I expect to start seeing results? (I will also be buying a weight vest soon) All help is appreciated.
Maybe you should up your weights. If you are doing weight training then you should be doing high weight and low reps. You shouldn't be doing 40 arm curls at once. You should be doing no more than 8 to 10. This tells me you aren't using big enough weights.
