Gran turismo 5 drifting problem...?
I cannot seem to drift on gran turismo 5, I can initiate a drift but when i try to control it by turning the opposite way on my wheel it either spins out anyway or it will just rebound and hit the wall, anyone got any tips?
I am currently using a S13 with around 200 bhp, it also is lowered on height-adjustable springs.
I use a DFGT wheel with power assist's off and force-feedback set to 1, (as I find it easier to use this way..)
All of my aids are also set to off or zero apart from ABS which is set to 1, all answers are much appreciated and I will be choosing a best answer! 
I do use an FR car, i have now changed the force feedback but still doesn't work properly... when you say feather the throttle do you mean tap or keep it half way?
for drifting you want hard tires, stability control off, you need to set your force feedback to 3-5 for more realistic results, also having it between 3-5 will allow you to feel what the car is actually doing and adjust accordingly
feathering the throttle means lightly pressing in and out of the gas accordingly to keep the tires from hooking up, give it too much power and it'll grab and you'll be in the wall, give it too little and you'll lose your speed and your drift, so you have to lightly and smoothly press in and out of the gas to keep your tires loose but not give it too much or too little and as you go around the corner the amount of gas needed changes, so you need to constantly "feather" the throttle to keep your car where you want it
also try using a rear wheel drive, that way instead of dragging the back end of the car behind you so it just follows you're not pushing the entire car from the back, might help a little
