Excuse me -- Prednisone is a steroid. OF COURSE you started having "ED like symptoms." Prednisone effects the penis. You are off the drug now, but it takes 2 to 3 weeks to recover from a span of it. In a month you will be getting hard for anything again, and this will be a bad dream.
My suggestion is that you keep masturbating and watching porn regularly so that your penis remembers what it is to feel pleasure and doesn't also shrink due to the steroid -- and it really will pass soon.
I've had this effect, although the condition was more serious - I would have laughed at a doctor that tried to give me ANY steroid - no matter how weak - for anything that wasn't actually threatening to me. I will never allow it again even so, I treasure my d*ck too much. I was about 20 when it happened. I do not like the memory.
