does anyone own or have used the Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells? are they really worth it? are they good?
I am thinking about buying them, which one is better? The 552 or 1090? I know that these dumbbells have adjustable weight settings, which is best thing, and that saves a lot of room and space, that way you won't have a huge rack of dumbbells everywhere. Anyone who owns them or has used it before, do you really recommend it?

This does not concern me losing weight, I am talking about making my arms stronger and bigger, better biceps and triceps, etc.
I want to work out for self-esteem reasons and health reasons, not for women.
i own the 1090 and yes i really do the like the them the fact that you can change them to different weights. saves alot of room and money when consider how much it would cost to buy a whole set like you see in the gym. the only downside there bigger and longer than regular dumbells and i had to get use to them and adjust my stance and position to make em work for me. other than that I really like them.
