What are these machines at the gym?
At my gym we have lots of machines like this

and ones for arms/legs etc. I asked the staff and they said it was was strengthening muscles. Can they be used for toning too? my PT told me to use dumbbells (just 2kg ones) to tone arms and legs but that area is always super busy and I thought that's what these machines did too?
Can girls use them?
I don't wanna get huge muscles though, just tone up a bit while I try to lose weight and inches.
Yeah - just use a very light weight and do plenty of reps.
