Why does my laptop screen randomly black out?
Whenever I'm using my laptop for an extended period of time the screen seems to randomly black out and I can't bring it back without shutting down and starting it again. I've also recently updated all of my drivers, and that still didn't make any difference.
I'm using a Toshiba Satellite A215-S5818 laptop. Here are the specs:

It used to be Vista but I upgraded to 7 a few weeks ago. The blacking out started about one week ago.
When you updated to W7 was it a clean install or via their two DVDs?
You should also have updated the TEMPRO and that would have alerted you to the new BIOS and the updated files for your machine to run with W7
