15, male, 5'8" 125lbs looking to "tone up" during the summer?
Hi guys,
Since I realised that my first question was crazy, I made another one. As mentioned in the question, I want to tone up. I don't know how much muscle this would take. I already have a pretty good build, however it isn't perfectly balanced. I have large biceps, (keep in mind I'm 15 and I know they aren't really that big, this is just to put a picture to my build) good abs and chest, big legs, not so big triceps, forearms/wrists and back.
I don't need to gain a lot of muslce, I just want to look more toned. I practicly have no weights at all (light dumbbells and some ankle/wrist weights) so I would probably need to buy some.

Well if you have a good build, and you want to work on your chest, then you have to have some tricep, and if you want to progress you biceps further, having a good tricep helps the biceps work correctly. i use benches to work my chest, triceps and shoulders, that's all i do for my shoulders. if you want to add muscle you want to use larger weights with lower reps, if you don't have the weights, then do pull ups, they work the back pretty good(not chin ups). you can do butterflies for the chest, and the smaller weights you have may work fine to start with. you can also do the smaller weights for you back muscles. sit on a bench leaning over and use the dumbbells and flex your shoulder blades bringing the weights up to your shoulders.
also, look up routines on line for the muscles you would like to work, there is so much more out there for different routines.
