Am I going to gain weight eating/exercising like this?
Hey
So I'm ALL about getting healthy this time, but I also dont want to bulk up and gain a bunch of weight haha Im eating a high-ish protein diet (30% protein, 25% fat, 45% carbs) but only 1200 calories a day and I've started doing EA active workouts on the Wii. (light muscle building stuff, like bicep curls with a resistance band, squats, rows, shoulder presses AND cardio, light running, dance, tennis, boxing.. etc.) for the first time ever. Am I going to gain or lose weight? Or stay the same but look more toned?

You will DEFINITELY lose weight. Most people have this preconceived misconception that specifically the types of foods that you eat will cause different things. This is not the case. Weight gain and weight loss are solely reflected on calories in versus calories out. If you intake more calories than your body can burn, you will gain weight. If you consume less calories than you burn, you will lose weight. Eating only 1200 calories AND doing exercise at the same time will most assuredly result in weight loss. At your weight, I would say you would need at least 1800 calories as your daily quota, so eating 1200 calories is already a -600. By doing this, you will lose AT LEAST a pound and a half a week, if not more.
