Hurt lateral muscle in shoulder doing military press.?

(Im only 17 and have been lifting seriously for only 2 years.) About five weeks ago I was doing 35 lb dumbell miltary presses and I had a sharp pain in my shoulder. I stopped working out for four weeks, and during my four weeks off I took ibprofin for two weeks and iced my shoulder for three weeks, After four weeks my pain seemed to have gone away and this past week, (5 weeks after injuring my shoulder), I got right back into lifting and did miliary presses with 15 lb dumbells after benching and there was a sharp pain again in my lateral shoulder muscle. I think I may need to go to the doctor but I dont want a visit just so they tell me that I need to rest for a few months. Please can someone help me deciefer what is wrong with my arm. (Is it my rotator cuff, do i hav a muscle tear, is my muscle just sore,??? or should I see a doctor. Thanks ahead of time.

it sounds like to me you have torn a muscle, at your age it should have healed by now, see a doctor
