Is it true that carrying 1-lb. weights would help tone your arms while you're walking?
Does carrying 1 pound REALLY make a difference than just walking alone? What other benefit does it do?
***Also, is it true that if you're in a hot environment, you sweat more & lose weight faster or is that a myth? If you're wearing sweats in a hot room, lifting weights. I know there was I guy I went to school with who was trying to get in the military, & they made him wear a heavy black suit in the hot summer because they said he would lose weight faster.
Moving your arm back, as you would when walking or jogging, with extra weight puts stress on your shoulders and can lead to all sorts of problems. And even if you took the risk, it wouldn't do much to tone your arms. And I don't know if wearing sweats when exercising will help you burn fat faster (I doubt it since the simple act of sweating doesn't equal burning fat), but it'll help soak up the sweat and keep you cool.
