Is Stand High Height Enhancer safe?

It consists of a pair of rubber slippers with acupuncture-intended design and a little device with a wire that is inserted in two little holes in the slippers. It inserts electric current (works with 2 batteries of 1.5 Volts each) into nerve points at the sole of the feet to stimulate the pituitary glands to secrete hormones. It makes your feet muscles twitch continuously...
Do you think this device is safe? Could you get electrocuted? Could it affect the heart?
I'm not asking about your opinions on whether it's effective in promoting growth, but on whether it could harm me in any way...
It wouldn't be inherently unsafe as 1.5 volts isn't enough to electrocute a human... if it were, people would be shocked by normal AA batteries every time they touched them. There wouldn't be enough of a shock to affect the heart unless the jolt were applied directly to the heart tissues (as in, opening your chest cavity and putting the electrodes right on the heart)... the rest of your tissues would absorb that electricity. If nothing else, you get more of a jolt from static electricity (which is more than possible, especially if they are rubber shoes).
I'll keep my skeptical thoughts about it to myself, but it shouldn't hurt you at all.
