is a weight set ( ez bar and adjustable weights) a good birthday present for someone who wants to gain muscle?
the gift would be for my 19th birthday and i cant decide if i want weight set, i have good definiton but i want to increase my muscle size and i only have 10 pound weights and they are good for toning but not much else
would a ez bar and 30 pound weights ( combined with bar weight would be 35 - 40 pounds) good to build muscle for a semi begginner at lifting?
get a 45 pound barbell (profetional size) and two 45, 25, 10, 5 lbs. And get 30 or 40 pound dumbells. doing dumbell press will help even out each chest muscle.
