No throttle control. Maybe it’s a sign of the times that they are trying
to make things idiot-proof. The engine manual is confusing. It attempts
to provide information for no less than 8 different engine configurations
with different instructions for starting on each. mine is #2(Automatic Return Choke-Fixed Throttle-Recoil).
I spray carborator cleaner in the intake port. It runs until that is burned up.I turn the gas on it will not run on Gas.What do I need to Do other than JUNK IT? Thanks
The gas is new,Icleaned thetank ,lines & carb..Choke is working.It is not sucking the gas from the bowl to the combustion chamber.What regulates,pumps,sucks or makes the gas move from bowl to combustion chamber?
Is the auto choke working? If it is, and the gas has no water in it then could be the diafram in the carb. has gotten to stiff to work if Honda is using one in that model. If the carb. has a fuel bowl that you are able to access, to remove it you will probably need a 10mm socket or wrench, once off check for trash also pull the the pin that retains the float, the needle valve should fall out and fuel should run out about the size of a pencil lead, if not you either have a clogged filter or your gas is shut off of course that would've been the best place to start. Hope you get it, sounds like a decent mower.
